Matthew joined Novak+Middleton in 2016 after completing his master’s thesis at Victoria University. Prior to this, Matthew undertook an exchange to Virginia Tech, United States and has worked on a variety of residential projects in Wellington. Matthew has a special interest in social housing, refugee infrastructure and designing architecture for extreme environments. His thesis proposes a new refugee typology that would assist refugees during the transit phase.
In his spare time, Matthew enjoys tramping and is a keen member of the running and brunch club.
